Born in South West London and discovered at eighteen years old by United Colors of Benetton for their 'Its My Time' campaign, David was introduced to fashion photography by sitting for British fashion photographer Josh Olins for United Colors of Benetton's international campaign.

After initially beginning in the fashion industry as a model David quickly grew an interest in being behind the lens, he started his first photography job as a retoucher in Seoul, South Korea while he learnt Korean and quickly grew a strong sense of studio lighting and fashion.

In 2012 David enrolled at London College of Fashion on the BA (Hons) Fashion Photography course and graduated in 2015, and continued to work as a freelance photographer since.

David's highly creative approach mixed with his sense of light earned him the Broncolor Gen NEXT award in 2016, a prestigious award from the leading photographic lighting company, Broncolor.
